While researching the different tour operators in Lisbon, I kept seeing the same name cropping up in my searches: We Hate Tourism. Thinking it was a joke, I kept searching until curiosity finally got the better of me. The joke was on me as I discovered a fun and comedic tour operator, offering alternative views of the city.
I joined them for the King of the Hills tour, a fast paced, open air jeep ride over the 7+ hills that make up the city of Lisbon. As we raced up and down, I felt like I was riding a roller coaster, albeit one with killer views. Each peak brought with it a new panoramic view of the city’s red tiled roofs, brilliantly blue waters, and the trolley tracks just weaving through the narrow roads.
